North West MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Gaoage Oageng Molapisi, will on Friday, 10 April 2026, introduce five (5) contractors appointed for the construction of four hundred (400) new housing units in Ratlou Local Municipality.
The housing project which is valued at approximately R90 million will be implemented across five villages namely: Madibogo-Pan, Tshidilamolomo, Moshawane, Loporung and Logagane within the Ratlou Local Municipality.
The project is expected to be completed by December 2027 and forms part of government’s ongoing efforts to improve access to adequate housing and basic services.
